UPGRADING THE EXISTING RAILWAY LINES OF KORINTHOS – ANDRITSA AND ARGOS – NAFPLIO Owner: Greek Railway Organization Budget: 26.538.750 Time of construction: 2007 - 2010 Short Description: The project included the upgrading of the railway line between the railway stations of Korinthos and Andritsa, a total of 78.1 km in length, and between the railway stations of Argos and Nafplio, a total of 10.6 km in length, allowing for a 100 km/hr train operating speed. The railway works executed involved the disassembly of old rails and sleepers and their replacement with new rails with monoblock concrete sleepers. The rail was continuously welded. Other works included the reconstruction of platforms in railway stations and the construction of small bridges along the length of the line
